On 6 1/2 acres atop Cates Hill on Bowen Island, Rivendell is a place of peace and quiet with magnificent views of mountains, forests and seas. Hosted by a volunteer Christian community, it welcomes small groups and individuals who are seeking spiritual renewal, respite and growth, and is accessible to people with limited resources and special needs.
Seven chakra gardens provide a haven of peace and joy to guests at the Willka T’ika Retreat. Each garden is dedicated to a different energy center, or chakra, to provide for personal meditation, healing and rejuvenation. The guest accommodations have been built so they merge into the gardens. From the plants and flowers, to the buildings constructed of local materials, Willka T’ika is a living dedication to the heritage and spirit of the people of the Andes.
It is a center for retreats, education and research with over 500 acres of wilderness beach, salmon-bearing rivers and upland forests and meadows. Access is by our river boat insuring its solitude and wildness. Our main camp facilities are set into pine covered hills overlooking the Pacific and range from single cabins to a full camp that can accommodate 150 guests.
Green Gulch Farm Conference and Retreat Center is located in a beautiful coastal valley just a short drive north of the Golden Gate Bridge, in Marin County, CA. Surrounded by hundreds of acres of National Parkland, its organic farm and gardens provide a serene environment for meetings, conferences, seminars, and workshops of up to 40 people a day, and up to 30 overnight.
Embercombe is a fifty-acre small-holding outside Exeter on the edge of Haldon forest, just one mile from the Dartmoor National Park. Its mission is to touch hearts, stimulate minds and inspire committed action for a truly sustainable world. To this end, it runs experiential programs for schools, families, individuals, businesses and organizations; and guests are encouraged to join in the physical work of the facility. Two yurt villages accommodate either 21 or 28 persons.
