Education Programs

Leadership for Climate Security (LCS)

LCS is a new program that the Brazilian branch of LEAD international has launched in 2008. Its main purpose is to provide a learning environment to help leaders of the different sectors to implement climate security action in their organizations in a more collaborative and creative way. LCS emphasizes the development of personal, interpersonal and systemic approaches.

MBA course on the Inner Dimension of Leadership, Inspired Pragmatism, and the Human Dimension of Sustainable Business

Creating and managing socially and environmentally sustainable organizations and societies depends on people in their diversity and complexity. This course focuses on the cognitive and experiential understanding of their "Inner Dimension", incl. the conscious and unconscious motivational and inspirational forces, capacities and frameworks that support and hinder the understanding and practical implementation of sustainability.

Bee School

Bees work cooperatively for the good of the planet. Without them there would be no fruit or vegetables. At this time the planet needs human bees, able to work holistically in tune with a greater intelligence, and to make the nectar needed to heal the planet’s immune system. Bee School is a year-long course, one day per month, to equip women and men with the skills, insight and knowledge to understand the challenges facing us and act effectively to address them, using 21st century consciousness.

Leadership for Change

Leadership for Change, a program of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management, engages a learning community of working professionals who gain sustainable and responsible leadership skills while implementing a work-based project. Participants represent several levels of management and business sectors. Their diverse backgrounds build a strong learning environment and their collective experiences create a microcosm of society. Participants learn from one another and from faculty members who facilitate discussions, assignments, and activities that illustrate collaborative, sustainable and responsible leadership practices.

Learning the Art of Hosting and Harvesting Questions and Conversations That Matter

This program serves to deepen competency and confidence in hosting group processes—circle, world café, open space, and other forms—that generate connections and release courage, creativity, intelligence and wisdom within groups of people. It is designed for leaders, facilitators, consultants and other change process practitioners who want to serve as conversational hosts in their work, community, and personal lives.

The Folke Bernadotte Academy

The Folke Bernadotte Academy is a Swedish government agency dedicated to improving the quality and effectiveness of international conflict and crisis management, with a particular focus on peace operations. The Academy functions as a platform for cooperation between Swedish agencies and organizations and their international partners. Courses targeting both practitioners and policy makers and are offered at basic and specialized levels.

LEAD International

LEAD is an international non-profit organization with a fast-growing network of 2000 leaders in more than 90 countries whose shared mission is to inspire leadership for a sustainable world. LEAD offices deliver training programs that challenge traditional notions of leadership with progressive participatory techniques. Using LEAD's experiential learning approach, participants learn through multi-stakeholder dialogue, systems thinking, and inclusive cross-cultural processes.

Authentic Leadership Certificate Program

The 16-week combined online/onsite Authentic Leadership Certificate Program at Naropa University is designed to provide a powerful experience of personal and professional transformation, combining ancient wisdom with modern, effective approaches to leadership.

Global Leaders Academy Program

Through a broad range of innovative peer group learning experiences and events the GLA builds self organizing communities of learning across organizations, sectors and nations. The GLA is supported by world class researchers, academics, scientists, religious leaders and others at the top of ‘their’ tree who are co-learners with us across our four learning domains: personal, interpersonal, organizational, and global.

The University for Peace

The University for Peace (UPEACE) was established through a mandate of the United Nations in Costa Rica in 1980 "to provide humanity with an international institution of higher education for peace and with the aim of promoting among all human beings the spirit of understanding, tolerance and peaceful coexistence."

Tällberg Foundation

The Tällberg Foundation operates through designing learning processes in the pursuit of new creative ideas and consciousness of the wider context. At the heart of the Foundation’s activities lies the yearly Tällberg Forum in Sweden. It has evolved into a new form of global gathering and an important ongoing open conversation on the wider issues facing business and society. Independent of established interests and institutions, the annual Tällberg Forum gathers 400-500 people over five days at the end of June.

Organizational Systems Program

The Organizational Systems program at Saybrook University is designed for students who want to understand the nature of organizations, collaborative practices, and transformative change. It prepares them to lead systemic change in business, education, healthcare, government, and communities. The program is geared toward students who want to improve current organizational systems and design innovative value-based business, education, community, government, and healthcare systems.

Global Leadership Program

The greater the challenge, the greater the capacity required for a successful and enduring response. The SHIFT Foundation’s Global Leadership Program (GLP) is an annual year-long learning laboratory through which 30 young global leaders aged 18-40 will develop the internal and external capacities needed to effectively respond to complex global social, economic, political, and environmental challenges. The GLP is designed to both transform and strengthen the worldviews of high-potential young global leaders (from the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa, Europe, North and South America) and to hone their global leadership skills.

Leading from the Inside Out

Leading from the Inside Out is the Rockwood Leadership Institute’s innovative yearlong fellowship program for senior executive leaders. This advanced, invitation-only program is designed to create a dramatic shift in participants' capacity to both lead their organizations and networks effectively and to collaborate across the boundaries of issue area, political and organizing orientation, geography and background. While many nonprofits have training for campaigners and organizers, there are few opportunities for established leaders to move to the highest level of personal and collective effectiveness.

Women Leaders for the World

The Women Leaders for the World program is a residential leadership development program that sparks innovation, fosters global citizenship, and expands the capacity and network of women leaders.

Master of Arts in Transformative Leadership

The MA in Transformative Leadership at the California Institute of Integral Studies develops present and future leaders’ ability for self-creation and to act effectively in the world, in ways that stress creativity, partnership, and an integral view of the world. This is an online program with on-campus intensives twice a year.

Generating Transformative Change

GTC is a proven, research-based program that over nine months supports people in growing and expanding to become leaders who facilitate transformation in their chosen area and beyond. Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship MBA Programme
